Early Life & Education
Tee-Y Mix was born on the 22nd of August, in the late 1980s, in Oyo State. He hails from and grew up in Oyo state, where he also had his primary and secondary school education. He earned a degree in computer science from the University of Abuja. Tee-Y Mix went further to the Audio Institute of America and earned a diploma in audio recording engineering.
Career
Tee-Y Mix made an appearance as one of the three judges on the reality TV music competition series Project Fame West Africa in 2008. The singing abilities of hundreds of novice contestants were judged by Tee-Y Mix, Adé Bantu, and Bibie Brew. As a sensitive and empathetic judge, Tee-Y Mix received praise. He served as a judge for Access the Stars, a music TV reality show, during its inaugural season in 2020. Tee-Y Mix started his record company, Vivace Records, in 2014.
